Ranting…
I may be thin but I’m not perfect. I have stretch marks from growing and I’m crooked from scoliosis. If there is one thing that I’ve learned from Tumblr, its that girls compare themselves to these Photoshopped models and create unrealistic standards for themselves. 30% of college students have some form of an eating disorder or self image related disease. We wonder why we have so many problems when all we do is stare at thinspo or fitspo. Its time to be happy with ourselves and stop comparing ourselves with these unrealistic images. I’ve struggled for years with my self image and I’ve come to the conclusion that staring at pictures of models only prevents us from being happy. Stop comparing and be happy with the little quirks and abnormalities of your body. Its your body and it will always be yours so work with it and treat it nicely. :)
